We’re not in hay fever season yet, but I thought this was an interesting and helpful article. 10% to 30% of Americans suffer from hay fever. Kat of Simply Living Simply does a very thorough job of explaining the causes of hay fever.
One disturbing observation she mentions is that studies indicate that rising temperatures and carbon dioxide may extend the hay fever season even further. Allergy season used to run from mid-August through September. Now it seems to run the first of August through mid-October.
Kat discusses the following:
- Seasonal triggers
- Year-round triggers
- Allergic reactions
- Herbal Help for Hay Fever
She also shares her recipes for a Natural Herbal Inhaler and a natural Sinus Congestion Tea. To read Kat’s article and recipes, visit the Herbal Remedies for Hay Fever link below.
