I found this recipe on the Apples and Ginger site. The Mom there mixed up this summer cough and immunity syrup for her daughter, who was recovering from a cold. Since her little girl had gone through whooping cough earlier, she wanted to have the cough syrup on hand.
The cough syrup uses honey, rose water and other ingredients. You just mix everything together and store the syrup in a glass dropper bottle. She uses 1/2 dropper to 1 dropper for her 3-year-old.
If you’d like to make your own rose water, this is a recipe I shared recently for Homemade Wild Rose Water.
