This is Pat’s recipe for Master Tonic. It uses fresh, chopped garlic cloves, fresh grated ginger root, fresh, grated horseradish root and other ingredients. (Pat includes the health benefits of each ingredient).
Pat explains the process of combining the ingredients, adding Apple Cider Vinegar and then aging the tonic for 2 weeks. There are also directions on straining out the liquid, and what dosage to take. Pat has some interesting ideas on when to start the recipe and when to strain the mixture.
Please note: Pat includes some links to other articles at the top of this post. The article about the master Tonic begins after the second photograph on the page. Also, I have heard much anecdotal praise for Master Tonics and wellness shots boosting the immune system and fending off colds and the flu. I’ve had great success with wellness shots during the cold weather.
Finally, please note the cautions for pregnant women toward the end of the article.
