A while ago Rebecca of Camp Wander posted an essential oil Rosacea Blend that used fractionated coconut oil. She has since become enthusiastic about the skincare benefits of witch hazel.
Among other things, witch hazel can be applied to the skin to reduce itching, pain and inflammation. It contains chemicals called tannins. When used on the the skin, witch hazel can help to reduce swelling, help irritated skin, and fight bacteria
In this post Rebecca shares a new recipe for a Rosacea Blend Spritzer that uses 4 essential oils and witch hazel. It’s a very easy mix-and-go recipe. For best results, spritz it on your face in the morning and evening.
Rebecca also has a recommendation for rose petal witch hazel which sounds wonderful!
