This is a homemade, rustic potting bench made from wooden pallets.  I love the rustic look!  The project is from Better Homes and Gardens.   The post includes step-by-step directions on how to transform 1 or 2 wooden pallets into a functional potting bench.  The directions are arranged as a slide show.  Just click on “Next” or “Prev” to navigate through the directions.

The commercial version of these benches are made and sold at Chicweed, a garden accessories store in Solana Beach, California.  But they also make a great DIY project.  The completed bench stands 37 inches high.  You can leave the wood plain,  stain it or paint it.
