5 Gardening Mistakes to Avoid

Nancy of Livin’ In The Green shares the top 5 gardening mistakes she’s made in the last 20 years.  For each mistake she discusses reasons that led to her making those mistakes.

Here’s one example.  Placing each plant too close together leads to overcrowding, which most gardeners know.  But the problem is worse if you’re planting perennials.  Nancy writes: “the first year they (perennials) sleep, the second year they creep and the third year they leap.”  So the lesson is read the planting instructions very carefully and follow them.
