This is a recipe for cayenne pepper hot sauce. Andrea of Frugally Sustainable provides an excellent tutorial with photographs. The recipe is very simple. She explains the process of combining the peppers and other ingredients in a covered jar so that they can ferment. After that you just blend the mixture and Bam! you have homemade hot sauce.
I’ve seen other recipes that use a sweet white Reisling instead of water. After you make hot pepper sauce, you can experiment with different combinations of ingredients.
