This is Nathalie’s recipe for a homemade, nontoxic sunscreen. It ’s more of a balm with a beeswax base. She adds a variety of base oils, the essential oil of your choice, and several other ingredients. The recipe is pretty easy to make and the balm consistency makes it easy to apply.

Nathalie is candid about not being certain of the exact SPF. One option would be to add a combination of Zinc Oxide and micronized Titanium Dioxide (not nanoparticles) to the recipe.
