This recipe uses peppermint-infused oil. In addition to the dried peppermint, you can use other dried herbs. JES has a number of suggestions. You can infuse a variety of different oils. My favorites are almond oil or grape see oil. JES explains how to infuse the oil you choose with the herbs.
She explains how to strain the final oil. She also has suggestions about making a stronger infusion. You can also add essential oils like peppermint or eucalyptus to the medicinal oil you’ve made. Finally, JES includes printable labels that you can use to note the oil and date made.
When you have a muscle ache, just massage some of this medicinal oil into the muscle to loosen and relax it.
