Thank you for visiting Herbs and Oils Hub!!
I love hummingbirds. They are amazing birds. We get a lot at our feeders in early May as they fly north. They flap their wings an average of 80 times per second and can fly left, right, up, down and even upside-down. When they hover they actually rotate their wings in a figure 8 pattern. They also enjoy an extremely fast metabolism. One advantage of feeding hummingbirds is the ability of watching these colorful, iridescent birds.
This is a simple recipe for homemade hummingbird nectar. There are very clear directions and also some cautions.
I also have several of the Hummzinger bird feeders, and love them. The red top pops off and you just pour the nectar into the clear plastic reservoir in the bottom. It’s easy to fill and easy to clean. There is also a nice perch all the way around the feeder.
