This is such a neat project and so useful! It’s a solar-powered dehydrator that’s easy to build and uses low-cost material. When I saw it, I immediately thought this would be a great way to dry fruit and herbs from the garden.

This dehydrator has a lot of racks and good air flow. It uses Plexiglass® and reflective aluminum foil to help warm the dehydrator with the sun’s rays.

Jeffrey provides a detailed materials list and instructions on how to build the dehydrator. Very nice tutorial!
