If you have fruit flies, this is a simple and effective home remedy to get rid of them. The recipe is from Mavis of Easy Kitchen Tips.
I use another, similar method. I fill one of those disposable, red, plastic, party glasses with 1 to 1-1/2 cups of apple cider vinegar. I add 3 drops of liquid dish soap to the apple cider vinegar. Then I put the cup in a spot where the flies seems to be congregating. I leave it uncovered. Works like a charm.
