This is her recipe for a homemade sugar scrub with calendula. I selected this article, because you don’t often see recipes that used herbally-infused oils in sugar scrubs. It makes so much sense! Calendula is ideal for a skin scrub because, among other things, it has anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory and astringent properties.
Meagan includes a link to directions on how to make an infused oil. For this recipe she infuses both coconut oil and sweet almond oil. The recipe is really very simple to make. She explains how she uses it as an alternative to soap. Very creative recipe!
