There are times when I’m either too tired (or lazy) to clean my oven right after cooking. Over time any spilled food sometimes bakes into the bottom and sides of the oven. I haven’t used commercial cleaners in years. The natural cleaners I’ve used in the past are often time-consuming to use.

This article contains Hilary’s recipe and method. One of the keys, I think, is what she uses to scrub the oven after applying her cleaning mixture. I tested this method today on the bottom of my oven and I have to say it cleaned up beautifully.
