This is a recipe and tutorial for making apple mint extract that I found at the Horrific Knits site.
It uses rum for a particular reason explained in the article. You can certainly use the more traditional vodka.
The directions are simple. After you mix the apple mint with the rum, just cap it and follow the directions for storage. It takes about 6 weeks for the mint to infuse the alcohol. Nice simple recipe.
