I almost used the title “Drunken Pickles” for this featured article 🙂 Sue uses gin, tonic water, and a few other ingredients to make a pickling solution. She explains the easy process of preparing Persian or pickling cucumbers and then pickling them in the gin and tonic mixture.
Since these are refrigerator pickles, once you have the pickles and pickling solution in glass jars, all you have to do is refrigerate them. Within a couple of days you can enjoy the pickles. As usual, Sue (The View from Great Island) has come up with a creative recipe.
