If your little one has a cold or runny nose you’ve probably used boogie wipes. They’re soft cloths you use to wipe runny noses. Unlike Kleenex they don’t irritate the skin. They also contain saline to break down any crusting around the nose. Commercial boogie wipes can be pretty expensive.
So Claire of EveryDay Roots created a recipe for Homemade Boogie Wipes. The recipe is very simple. Claire explains the best cloths you use, and how to make a dunking mixture. You end up with a boogie wipe that is gentle on little noses, but also breaks down any crusted mucus.
Best of all, you can launder used boogie wipes, and repeat the process to “recharge” them. VERY cost-effective.
