Joe’s Homemade Peony Jelly – Unique!

I have to admit that I had never heard of peony jelly, so I had to feature this article. It may be a bit late as peonies bloom in early spring. So you may have to file this recipe away for next year. However, we did have a slow-starting spring in the Midwest. So some of you may still have some of these fragrant flowers in your garden.

For this recipe, use home-grown, chemical-free flowers. Joe provides step-by-step directions and tips on how to make this jelly. In the end you have a wonderful amber, floral and slightly tart jelly. This is a terrific jelly to have on warm bread in the dead of winter to remind you that spring is coming. 🙂  It’s actually excellent any time of the year. Very nice recipe.
