Argan is a somewhat legendary oil that can be used as a daily moisturizer, or treatment for skin, hair, and nails.
It’s rich in vitamin E and essential fatty acids, and is grown organically in Morocco. Argan Oil can be used for hydrating and nourishing skin, as a daily moisturizer, skin treatment, treating split ends, and softening cuticles. It’s gentle enough to use on all skin types and is believed to help with skin conditions including acne. It’s said to have healing, conditioning, and anti-aging properties to keep your skin and hair nourished.
Because the Argan trees only grow in a small part of the world, they are protected by UNESCO, and the production is still carried out by local women who earn a living thanks to growing demand for this awesome oil.
Marie of Humblebee and Me has used Argan oil for a while. It healed some stubborn acne and now she won’t travel without it.
She started experimenting with using it in blends. This recipe is for an Argan Oil Serum. In addition to Argan Oil, it uses lichrysum essential oil, lavender essential oil and South African Chamomile essential oil. All are good for healing and calming the skin, and as a plus, the combination smells fantastic.
The recipe is amazingly simple. All you need are the oils and an amber bottle with an eye dropper.
