Homemade Stacked Herb Planter

I found this idea for an herb planter over at yummytummydesserts.  It’s a very simple idea and an easy DIY project.  Painted terracotta pots of different sizes  are stacked inside of each other.  There’s an insert in the bottom and middle pots to raise up the middle and top pots.  Black acrylic paint and a white paint pen are the only other supplies you need.  One good suggestion that I saw was that this works better if you use really large pots.  That way you have more room for the soil and herbs.  You can decorate the pot with any quotations or inspirational sayings that you like.
