I think this idea is sort of genius.  Jillee of One Good Thing  figured out how take a mason jar and convert it to a dispenser with a capped spout.  This is one of those DIY ideas where you wonder “Now why didn’t I think of that?”

You can use these dispensers for sugar, flour, baking soda, herbs, and anything else you can think of.  Jillee’s instructions are very clear and there are step-by-step photographs.  GREAT idea!
